Yet Another New Toy
I love taking pictures ever since my sister bought me my first digital camera back in 2003, my very first SONY DSC-P32 and besides that I was borrowing my brothers’ camera. Not until early last year my brother Tony gave me a SONY DSC-W50, I was happy with it. Later on my dear bf was encouraging me to buy a good camera - a DSLR he suggested. But I told him I'm not that good enough to handle something like that, he said it is easy to learn if I have the interest to do so.
And so for months I've been asking myself to buy or not to buy... At first I was eyeing the CANON Power Shot S5 IS and I asked my friend Hazel if she knows somebody who could tell me if it's a good buy for someone who’s new in photography. So she asked her friend Jay who is a photography enthusiast. He said for a few more thousand pesos I could upgrade to CANON 400D Kit. I quickly research on the item and found out that it cost 39,950 here in the Philippines and my budget was much less than that. Later on I found out that in Malaysia 400D would only cost around 30k plus freebies! I got so excited and asked Hazel who is based in Malaysia if she could buy me one and if she doesn’t mind bringing it along when she comes home. She agreed! And I was sooooo excited! Hehehe!
Hazel arrived in Manila last August 7, after weeks of waiting, last August 8, during our get-together snack/early dinner at Shakey’s Katipunan… I got my brand new DSLR CANON EOS Rebel XTi 400D Kit…

Here's my model. Shy kuno pero very willing to pose naman. Wag lang daw nude... Hehehe! My first shot... Long way to go before I get used to all its knobs, controls, etc....
