Surreal!
Everything's happening so fast. I'm so shocked, happy and so scared at the same time. So much to do so little time left... Super crunch time! Argh!
I have till Saturday to fix/pack our things and make all the bilins to our angels.
Sunday, we are bound to one of the biggest adventure of our lives.
I still can't believe it.
Thank you Lord for all the blessings.
Iloilo! Here we come!
What a way to end the year and start a new life together.
Goodbye Manila... I will miss you! See you soon! ♥

Movie Weekend
We had at least 2 hours to kill before the movie starts. Hubby was supposed to get a hair cut at GQ but he got 10 people ahead of him, he does not want to wait it out. Decided to try Oddballs and surprisingly I liked the squid balls with their spicy sauce plus strawberry banana shake - yummy!
Breaking Dawn is the only movie adaptation of the book that I ever watched in a movie house. Hehehe! Love the movie and how it was done. Can't wait for the final part.
After the movie we were undecided, to have a coffee or have dinner.
We opted to try this burger joint that we always pass by going to work and have been there for so long - Food Camp which is just beside Banapple. It did not disappoint us. Bravo Burger was almost perfect! Except for the buns - too fluffy for me. They were so generous with the ingredients they put in. Sooo tasty! Perfect with beer! Their version of the Twister Fries has uncanny resemblance of those of MacDonalds, though at McDee theirs are saltier. But they look and almost taste the same. Hmm.. My Fili Cheese is.. pwede na. Love the bread though. :)
Reasonable price! Perfect serving.
We're going back to try the Angus steak and Wagyu Steak! So excited for the next trip.

The 3 L's of a Lasting Marriage
Love is the very foundation of good marriage, but it turns out, there are a few other “L” words to consider. Blogger Leigh Pennebaker explains:
Listening: It is so important and helpful to be able to really listen to your partner. When you know someone so well, it's easy to feel like you have them all figured out. Sometimes that's great, but other times it can mean rushing to judge or to make assumptions that might not be true. Striving to really, deeply listen is the cornerstone of communication between my husband and me. It inspires empathy and compassion -- and you can't have too much of those things in a marriage!
Laughing: Don't take things too seriously. My husband has the great gift of being able to introduce levity with kindness whenever things get tense between us. It helps to put things in perspective. When you laugh together it's hard to be angry.
Looking: A wonderful thing to do regularly to connect with your spouse is to gaze silently into each other's eyes without speaking for several minutes. It’s such a simple act, but you would be surprised how revelatory and healing it can be. The next time you just can't seem to regain your relationship mojo, try this exercise. It will get you back to a beautiful place before you know it.
And finally, it may not begin with “L,” but saying thank you is key. Don't take even the little things for granted. Let your honey know how much they (and their sweet gestures) mean to you each and every day.

Paulo Coelho
Love is the ultimate healer, a force that is stronger than an individual. All the loves in the world are like different rivers flowing into the same lake, where they meet and are transformed into a single love that becomes rain and blesses the earth

Stressed Out
I don't feel like going to work tonight...
But, I have to.
Haaayyy.....
As what a close friend always say, "if you feel tired or too lazy to go to work, think of the people who are jobless."
Haaayyyy....
Just one more day Lord!
One more day... :'(
Thoughts
A young man was getting ready to graduate college. For
many months he had admired a beautiful sports car in a dealer's
showroom, and knowing his father could well afford it, he told
him that was all he wanted.
As Graduation Day approached, the young man awaited
signs that his father had purchased the car. Finally, on the
morning of his graduation his father called him into his private
study. His father told him how proud he was to have such a fine
son, and told him how much he loved him. He handed his son
a beautiful wrapped gift box.
Curious, but somewhat disappointed the young man
opened the box and found a lovely, leather-bound Bible. Angrily,
he raised his voice at his father and said, "With all your money you
give me a Bible?" and stormed out of the house, leaving the holy book.
Many years passed and the young man was very successful in business.
He had a beautiful home and wonderful family, but realized his
father was very old, and thought perhaps he should go to him. He
had not seen him since that graduation day. Before he could make
arrangements, he received a telegram telling him his father had
passed away, and willed all of his possessions to his son. He
needed to come home immediately and take care things.
When he arrived at his father's house, sudden sadness and
regret filled his heart.
He began to search his father's important papers and
saw the still new Bible, just as he had left it years ago. With
tears, he opened the Bible and began to turn the pages. As he
read those words, a car key dropped from an envelope taped behind the Bible.
It had a tag with the dealer's name, the same dealer who had the
sports car he had desired. On the tag was the date of his graduation,
and the words...PAID IN FULL.
How many times do we miss God's blessings because they are not
packaged as we expected?

Nail Art
Ooohhh... I just love looking at them. Soooo nice and pretty!
Ever since I learned about acrylic nails eleven years ago, I never tried nail art, because I only go for french tips or dark reds. But seeing these lovelies.. I wanna try it! Hehehe!
Currently, I'm wearing "I Pink, Therefore, I Am" by Cutex. Finally found the perfect shade of pink!

One day a farmer's donkey fell down into a well. The animal cried piteously for hours as the farmer tried to figure out what to do. Finally, he decided the animal was old, and the well needed to be covered up anyway; it just wasn't worth it to retrieve the donkey.
He invited all his neighbors to come over and help him. They all grabbed a shovel and began to shovel dirt into the well. At first, the donkey realized what was happening and cried horribly. Then, to everyone's amazement he quieted down.
A few shovel loads later, the farmer finally looked down the well. He was astonished at what he saw. With each shovel of dirt that hit his back, the donkey was doing something amazing. He would shake it off and take a step up.
As the farmer's neighbors continued to shovel dirt on top of the animal, he would shake it off and take a step up. Pretty soon, everyone was amazed as the donkey stepped up over the edge of the well and happily trotted off!
MORAL :
Life is going to shovel dirt on you, all kinds of dirt. The trick to getting out of the well is to shake it off and take a step up. Each of our troubles is a steppingstone. We can get out of the deepest wells just by not stopping, never giving up! Shake it off and take a step up.
Remember the five simple rules to be happy:
1. Free your heart from hatred - Forgive.
2. Free your mind from worries - Most never happens.
3. Live simply and appreciate what you have.
4. Give more.
5. Expect less from people but more from God.
